Revitalize Milwaukee

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Revitalize Milwaukee is a nonprofit committed to improving the health and safety of homeowners by providing free critical home repairs. Their work supports low-income seniors, veterans, and individuals living with disabilities by addressing issues such as mold, structural damage, plumbing failures, and more. The challenge was to raise awareness while delivering clear messaging that could communicates the urgency of these issues and the real impact of their work.
The concept centers on cinematic imagery of homeowners, designed to humanize the realities behind critical home repairs and bring visibility to stories that are often overlooked. Rather than focusing on the repairs themselves, the work highlights the people affected. Each composition pairs direct typography with a house-shaped framing symbol, creating a consistent visual system that reinforces ideas of safety, shelter, and restoration. This structure allows each story to feel personal while remaining cohesive.
Due to the absence of a production budget, AI-assisted image generation was used as a visualization tool to prototype the campaign to the client and explore art direction. Therefore, establishing a proposed roadmap for production.
With given consent: The campaign draws from real homeowner stories sourced from press materials, translating them into a unified and emotionally driven body of work.
Featured homeowners: Delwine Dorsey, Angela & Giana Morales, Ms. Nancy, Stephanie Knight-Graham

The concept centers on cinematic imagery of homeowners, developed using AI assisted image generation due to the absence of a production budget. Paired with direct typography and a house shaped framing device, the system creates a visual language that highlights real human stories sourced from press releases / likeness behind critical home repairs. This approach extended across billboards, bus shelters, and a range of digital and print assets to ensure every touchpoint felt consistent and human centered.
